Brayton, Edward R., age 78 of Coventry, passed away on March 7th at Coventry Health Center.
He was the beloved husband of Sandra C. (Martin) Brayton.
Born in Cranston, he was the son of the late Randall H. and Grace M. (Wood) Brayton.
Before retirement, he was an office supervisor, with Insurance Service Office in Quincy MA for over 30 years.
He was a Navy Veteran of Korea having served on the USS Midway.
A 1958 graduate of URI, and a member of the Alumni Assoc., Phi Gamma Delta Fraternity. He was an avid race car fan with Ross Engineering of Warwick.
He also enjoyed Bowling and wood working.
Besides his loving wife, of over 43 years, he leaves sons Randall M. Brayton of Coventry and Ronald E. Brayton of Cranston.
A funeral service will be held on THURSDAY and 10 am in The RUSSEL J. BOYLE & SON Funeral Home, 142 Centerville Rd., WARWICK, Interment with military honors will follow in Quidnessett Memorial Cemetery. Visiting hours are WEDNESDAY from 6-8 pm.
