Biography

Elwin Breed was born 20 May 1812. He was the second child of Bassett Breed and Nancy Nichols.

He married 1836 Abigail Phillips Rich (30 Nov 1816 - 22 Apr 1883), daughter of Stephen & Sally (Lewis) Rich; 11 children, all born at Lynn, Massachusetts, many of whom did not live to maturity or have children; those who created next generation are italicized:
