Patrick Brennan Funeral Monday

Funeral to be at Catholic Church Monday Morning, 9 O'clock for Pioneer Resident.

The funeral mass for Patrick A. Brennan, pioneer resident, who died Friday afternoon at his home, 831 E Oak, will be Monday morning, nine o'clock at the Sts. Peter and Paul's Catholic Church. Brennan would have been 90 years old this fall had he lived.

Father McClity, pastor of the Stillwater Catholic church will conduct the services. The body will remain at the c.c. Walters funeral chapel until the hour of the funeral.

Mr. Brennan was born in Ireland November 1844 and he immigrated to America with his parents at the age of 9. After a brief stay at Lonsdale, R.I., the family moved to DeKalf county, Ill and at the age of 21 years he was married to Mary Farrell. Nine children were born to this union. The six surviving ones are: Thos, Martin and John Brennan and Mrs. Walter Furson of Kansas City, Mo., William Brennan of Cushing and J.J. Brennan of Springfield, Mo. After his marriage he moved to Marshall, Kansas and was in the farming and mercantile business until 1900. His first wife died December 8, 1894 while they lived in Kansas. Brennan came to Cushing in 1900 and resided on a farm east of the city. He was married to Mrs. Sarah Wheeler in 1903 and almost 22 years ago they moved to the home on East Oak. AT the time the deceased was in the mercantile business here.
