Biography

Andrew Bretz was born in Ohio on 5 Mar 1827 in Marion County, Ohio, the son of Samuel Bretz and Catherine Bibler. On 10 Apr 1851, in Seneca County, he married Mary Seitz. They had two children.

2. Alice Corilla (Bretz) Brown (1855-1937)

Andrew established a farm in Grand Prairie township, Marion County, where he built a large house which became the home for at least three generations of his family.^[1]

Andrew died on 9 Jan 1905 at age 77 and is buried with his wife at Grand Prairie Cemetery, Brush Ridge, Marion County, Ohio.
