Rebecca Brewster's gravestone at the Fallis Pioneer Cemetery in Sugar Creek Township, Greene County, Ohio, gives her death date as 2 August 1862 at the age of 62 years 5 months and 18 days. This calculates to a birth date of 2 Feb 1801,[1] which agrees with census data from 1850 and 1860. The censuses state that she was born in Ohio.[2][3] There was a Samuel Brewster who was an early settler of Sugar Creek about 1803.[4]

Isaac Fallis and Rebecca Brooster were married May 17, 1838, recorded in Montgomery County Ohio, which is next to Greene County. [5][6] Isaac was previously married to Mercy who died in 1834.[1] Isaac was 20 years her senior.[2]

The couple resided in Sugar Creek Township, Greene, Ohio, United States, along with children Martha J Fallis, 9, Ruth A Fallis, 7, and Charlotte Fallis 5, in 1850.[2] Isaac was a laborer.[2]

Isaac died between the 1850 and 1860 Censuses. Rebecca (spelled Fallace), age 59, continued to live at Sugar Creek township with Martha Jane age 19, Ruth age 16, and Charlotte age 15,[3] until her death three years later.
