Probate was granted 20th day of August 1660
His goods, chatells and credits were appraised after his decease by John King and John Metyard. This was dated 29 July 1600 ,probably this was soon after his decease. His household stuff and wearing apparel together with his hay and animals ( hay £12, a mare, six kine £20, 1 pig £1 10s 0d) amounted to £58 05s 0d. However ,Richard also had £210 0s 0d in money. (value in 2023 according to Bank of England Inflation calculator £34,597.05)
