Biography

George Washington Bricker was born 14 October 1886 in Madison County, Indiana. ^[1] He was a child of George W. Bricker and Ida Lucinda Cannon. He married Osia Florence Speer 22 July 1905 in Hancock County, Indiana. He passed away 11 June 1960 in Greenfield, Hancock County, Indiana. He was interred in McCray Cemetery, Wilkinson, Hancock County, Indiana. ^[1]

"GEORGE BRICKER, 73, DIES AT HOME

"WILKINSON - George Bricker, 73, RR 1, Greenfield, died suddenlySaturday afternoon at his home.

Mr. Bricker, who was engaged in farming, was a member of theWhetstone Brotherhood and Sisterhood and the Mt. Gilead EvangelicalUnited Brethren Church.

Surviving are the widow, Stella; three sons, Paul Bricker, RR 1,Charlottesville; Kenneth Bricker, RR3, Greenfield; Three grandchildren;six great-grandchildren; two brothers, Wlater Bricker, near Wilkinson,and Herschell Bricker, RR 1, Markleville, and five sisters, Mrs. EthelHuffman, Mrs. Marie Belser, Mrs. Gladys Keesling and Mrs. Bertha Needler,all of Anderson, and Mrs. Mabel Bricker, Missouri.

Friends are being received at the Condo and Son Funeral Home inWilkinson. Services will be conducted at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the funeralhome with the Rev. James Ford and the Rev. Everett Wainscottafficiating. Burial will be in the McCray Cemetery at Wilkinson."
