He was born on the 27th of March 1919[1] in Allen, Kentucky[1] to Hubert Bridges[1] and Mettie Sloan[1][2]

Roy Haskell Bridges, 62, of 1252 E. Vanderhoof St. died 6:56 a.m. Thursday (March 11, 1982) in St. Mary's Hospital.
Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Monday in J, J, Moran & Sons Funeral Home, with visitation from 5 to 8 p.m. Sunday. Burial, will be in Marrowbone Township Cemetery, Bethany.
Mr. Bridges was born in Fountain Run, Ky. son of Hubert and Mettie Bridges. He was a retired, self-employed maintenance worker and member of Moose Lodge 684. He married Mary Jane Woods Gregg in 1975.
Surviving are his wife; son.....
