Susan's maiden name was Brien. She was the daughter of William John Brien and Louisa Morrow. Susan previously married Arnold Frederick Hollier in 1939. They seem to have been divorced as both remarried in 1951. At the time of his death in 1988, Arnold's wife's name was Faith, according to newspaper reports.
