Biography

Amy Maud Bright was born in 1885 at Kiama Nsw, Australia. She was the daughter of John Bright and Mary Unknown Note: Mother's Name is Mary Ann Bright (nee SWAN).

She married Anthony Joseph Scardigli (Surname also known as Cranley) in 1908 at Sydney, New South Wales, Australia.

Amy Maud Bright (SCARDIGLI) passed away on 21 Apr 1919 at Waterloo, New South Wales Australia, at the age of 38. The cause of death was pneumonic influenza. It is apparent that her parents were responsible for placing the notice of her death in the Newspaper and subsequent In Memoriam Notices. They were all listed with the surname CRANLEY. Amy was interred in Rookwood Cemetery on 23 April 1919. The record from the Cemetery indicates that she was buried under the surname "Amy Scardighi" sic: should read SCARDIGLI.
