Mary was born Mary Brook on 14 January 1831 Morley, Yorkshire & baptised Mary Brook on 4 February 1835 Morley, St. Paul, Yorkshire the daughter of Joseph Brook (clothier) & Sarah Varey of Morley. [1]
The marriage of David Gaunt (23) (bachelor) (clothier) [of Morley] & Mary Brook (20) ( spinster) [of Morley] was conducted on 10 March 1850 Morley, St. Peter, Yorkshire. Father of bride & groom noted as Joseph Brook (clothier) & George Gaunt (weaver) [2]
