Biography
Missouri Ann Brown was born in November (the 20th) between 1838[1] and 1846[2] in Platte County, Missouri, she was the daughter of Obediah and Eliza (Grover) Brown. She married Thomas C. Jacks (1847–1931) on July 4, 1867 in Platte County, Missouri.[3] They had two children:[4]
- Flora Ella Jacks (1876–1883)
- James Garrard "Bud" Jacks (1877–1928)
She died of uterine cancer on May 29, 1914, in Carroll, Missouri,[5] at the age of 68, and was buried in Ferrelview, Missouri.[6]
