Sarah (Brown) Doolittle was a Connecticuter.
Biography
Sarah, the daughter of Samuel Brown and Mercy Tuttle was born 8 August 1672 in New Haven, Connecticut.[1]Sarah and Joseph Doolittle were married on 24 April 1690 in New Haven.[2]
Sarah and Abel had no known children, per Jacobus and The Doolittles of America.
A previous version of this profile claimed that Sarah gave Abel three children
Sarah Doolittle (1691- 1730) m. Abel Parmelee in 1729. But Jacobus and other records clearly state that the Sarah D who married Abel P was daughter of Theophilus Doolittle.
Lydia Doolittle (1701- ) who some believe married Ephraim Cook, but Jacobus says that Ephraim's wife was Lydia Merriman, not Doolittle.
FamilySearch indicates that Sarah died in 1720 in Wallingford, Connecticut; however, a source is needed for this death information.
