Griffith was born in 1826. He passed away in 1879.[1]
He married Mary Paxon in 1854.[2] The couple apparently had seven children, four still living by 1900.[3] Of those children, five of their names are known from census records: Harriet (Hattie), Andrew,[4] Emma, Reuben,[5] and Rachel Minerva. [6]
