William Samuel Bruce was born on 19th July 1859 to parents Samuel Bruce and Rebecca Holland.[1] He married Ann Alice Merritt about 1879 in Headington, Oxfordshire, England. Children: Annie Jane, William Samuel, Albert Charles, Florence Kate, Christopher Charles, Matthew, Kathleen Mary, Evangeline Elsie, Louisa, Alfred, Isa Mildred, Sydney Clifford, Lily, Constance Dorothy. He died in Dec 1926 in Islington, England.
