Biography

Patrick Bruce was born in 1844 in Cork, County Cork, Ireland.[1]

He was in the U.S. Army.[1]

Patrick died in Jun 1876 in The Battle of the Little Big Horn aged ~32 and was buried there on what became the Little Big Horn Battlefield National Monument, Little Big Horn Battle Site, Big Horn County, Montana[1]

The Battle of the Little Bighorn, fought on June 25, 1876, near the Little Bighorn River in Montana Territory, pitted federal troops led by Lieutenant Colonel George Armstrong Custer (1839-76) against a band of Lakota Sioux and Cheyenne warriors.
