Biography

Phillip James Brull was born in 1889 at Wagga Wagga, He was the son of Joseph Brull and Margaret. ^[1][2]

It appears Phillip tried to join the Australian Army but was discharged immediately - there is no explanation why. ^[3]

Philip married Mary Ellen Cantwell in 1917 in Sydney, New South Wales.^[4] They divorced twice - the second time in 1929 with great coverage by the Australian papers.

Phillip married Rita E James in 1924 in Randwick, New South Wales.^[5]

In 1925 Phillip's mother Margaret Keeler had him prosecuted on false pretences for taking monies from her on the promise his ex-wife would pay he back.^[6]

Annetta Esther Wilson married Phillip James Bruell on 20 January 1943 in New Zealand ^[7]

Around 1947 Phillip decided to change his name and called himself Edward Phillip James Keller.

A victim of the Lodestar 'Kereru' that crashed near Waikanae in 1949 he died on 18 March 1949 around Waikanae - he was on a flight from Auckland to Wellington. ^[8][9]
