Martin was born in 1610, almost certainly in the Duchy of Wüttemberg, Holy Roman Empire. He and his wife Anna had one known son, Martin Brückhel (Brickel) jr. born on 26 March 1647 in Walddorf, Altensteig, Duchy of Wüttemberg, Holy Roman Empire. Martin Sr. passed away on 23 September 1662 in Iselshausen, Nagold, Duchy of Württemberg, Holy Roman Empire.[1]
