He was a house painter and died eventually from lead poisoning. Alice graduated 8th grade from McKinley Avenue Elementary School in February 1903. She then attended Secretarial School. Theron came to Los Angeles and met Alice at a church social. After he returned to Michigan he sent for Alice to join him. He met her in Chicago where they were married before taking her home to Michigan. 1910 Alice came to Los Angeles because her father was dying. He died in April, she stayed too long and had to stop in York Nebraska on way back to Michigan to give birth to Lucile. Alice and Theron were divorce in 1930’s.
