Biography

European Aristocracy
Richard Bulstrode was a member of the aristocracy in England.

Richard Bulstrode m. Alice Knife. He d. 1502, seised of lands held of Merton Priory, and of Chalvely Manor in Chalvey and Upton, co. Buckingham.

According to the Visitation of Buckinghamshire, 1634, William Bulstrode of Upton married Agnes the daughter of William Bray. Their son heir was Richard Bulstrode, who married Alice Kniffe the daughter of Richard Kniffe of Chalvey.[1]

The Inquisition Post Mortem of Richard Bulstrode, esquire, was held on 3 December 18 Henry VII (1502). He had died on 19 May 1502. He had several properties in Buchinghamshire, for example in Horton, Chalvey, Wyardesbury, Langley and Beaconsfield. His wife was Alice and his son and heir was Edward, aged 28 years and more.[2]
