When Anna Kathleen Burke was born on 12 January 1902^[2], her father, George G. Burke, was 42 and her mother, Mary Alice Burke, was 37^[3]. She married George Hubert Rubenthaler on 2 December 1931, in Alliance, Box Butte, Nebraska, United States. They were the parents of at least 1 son^[4].

By 1940, it appears she was separated from George Hurbert Sr as she was back in her mother's household in the 1940s^[5]. By 1950 George Hurbert Sr is shown as "husband" to Katherine (Niland) Rubenthaler in Texas^[6].

She lived in Alliance Election Precinct, Box Butte, Nebraska, United States in 1940^[5] and Alliance, Box Butte, Nebraska, United States in 1950^[7]. She died on 28 July 1964^[2], in Nebraska, United States, at the age of 62, and was buried in Alliance, Box Butte, Nebraska, United States^[8].
