Christian Jacob Burkert was born at Ingelfingen in 1878, the son of Friedrich jacob Burkert and Albertina Ehrfurth. He was married at Pforzheim in 1907 to Marie Sofie Rommel.

Children:

1. Max Christian Burkert, b. 12 Aug 1908 Pforzheim, d. 1990 Pforzheim.
2. Erich Burkert, b. 30 Aug 1909 Pforzheim, d. 21 Jan 1944 France.
