Sarah was born in 1840. She is the daughter of Solomon Burkett and Elizabeth Unknown.
She came to Western Australia with her mother on the Anne McLean, arriving on 5 November 1852.[1]
She married John Bridger on 28 October 1858 in Bunbury.[2] Their first child had been born the previous year.
Her husband was convicted in 1867 of forgery and Sarah and her children were admitted to the poorhouse.[1]
No death details have been found Sarah in Western Australia.
