Biography

Matthew was born in 1813 and baptised in Lowestoft 05 Jul 1813, the son of John Butcher and Letitia Bly. ^[1]

He married Mary Ann Ward in Stranton, 25 Aug 1839. ^{[2] [3]}

Matthew died in Hartlepool aged 83. ^[4]
