Biography

Emma was born in 1861. She was the daughter of James Butler and Sarah Harris. She passed away in 1944 at the age of 83 from Chronic Myocarditis.

Note: Her death certificate indicates she was the daughter of John Powell. However, his death date was 10 Oct 1856, prior to her birth. In her mother's biography, her father is listed as James Butler from Redburn, Hereford, England. Her mother's life with James Butler was very unhappy and she divorced him. Both Emma and her brother, John James. were sealed to her mother's first husband, John Powell and all of her mother's children were known as Powell.

This record records her biological father, John Butler, as her father.
