Biography
Bromfield was born in 1904. He was the son of Alfred Butler and Emily Alway. Bromfield William Alfred Butler born 25 Feb 1904 Bristol, baptized 2 June 1909, served in the Royal Tank Corps in 1923. He married in 1933 Margaret M Knott at Exeter. Mechanical transport driver Royal Navy in 1966 when awarded the Imperial Service Medal on retirement. [london Gazette, 3 June 1966]Died in Plymouth in 1991.
