04 Apr 1628: He wrote his will, which mentions: John eldest s/o brother Magnus B; Magnus s/o brother Magnus B; goddaughter Dorothy Byne d/o brother Edward; Mary B & Elizabeth B d/o brother Edward; Magnus B & John B s/o brother Stephen; Elizabeth B d/o brother Stephen; Agnes B d/o brother Magnus; godson William Childe; godson David Foster s/o David F; goddaughter Elizabeth Relf d/o Thomas R; Thomas Relf ; executors: brothers Magnus & Stephen; lands & tenements in Waldron, Burwash & Ticehurst; overseers: Henry Cruttenden & David Foster of Burwash.
He died a bachelor and was buried 28 Aug 1628 at Burwash.
20 Dec 1628: will proved at Archdeaconry Court of Lewes by brothers Magnus & Stephen.
