Biography

Edwin Walter Caldecott was born in Erbistock in about 1834.[1] [2][3]Edwin was the son of John Caldecott, a veterinary surgeon.[4]

Edwin Walter Caldecott married Harriette Broster at St Oswald's, Chester on the 24th July 1858. Harriette was the eldest daughter of Broughton Broster of Lambpit Street, Wrexham.[4][5]

Edwin Walter was a Blacksmith who later commenced an undertaking enterprise[1]

Edwin Walter Caldecott, of Pen-y-Bryn, Wrexham died at 3 Madeira Hill, Wrexham on the 3rd December 1904.[1][3][6]He was buried at Wrexham Cemetery on the 6th December 1904.[7][8] The beneficiary of Edwin's estate was Hariett Broster Caldecott, a spinster[6]
