John was Mashpee Wampanoag.

John T. Canada was a Native American born in 1832 and passed away after 1860. His last name was recorded later in 1860 as Cannady, in 1861 as Kennedy and in 1862 as Canerdy. He was the son of George Canada and Native American, Sarah Queppish. Husband of Hepsebeth Johnson.[1]
