Biography
Mauricia Canales was born in Texas on 26 September 1900 to Serapio Canales and Maria Estefana Gonzales. She married Isidro Luera before 1930. She was widowed in 1936 when her husband died of pneumonia.[1] They had had 4 known children.[2] Mauricia died of a coronary occlusion and hypertensive cardiovascular heart disease in 1954. According to her death certificate, she is buried at Salineno Cemetery in Salineno, Texas.[3]
