Elias was born in 1860. He was the son of Enoch Cantrell and Elizabeth Wall. He passed away in 1942. His Inman, Spartanburg Co., SC Death Certificate #02633, dated Feb. 7, 1942, states his name was ELIAS CANTRELL, a married white male, born March 1, 1860, in Spartanburg Co., SC. His wife was listed as ZIBEON EZELL CANTRELL. He was a retired merchant and 81 years 11 months and 6 days old at his death from Myorcarditis and Uremia. His father was listed as ENOCH CANTRELL and mother was ELIZABETH WALL, both born in Spartanburg Co., SC. Informant was Mrs. JAMES WOLFE of Inman, SC. Undertaker was listed as TOLLY W. PETTY of Landrum, SC. Doctor was S. J. MORROW. Interment was in the Inman Cemetery on Feb. 8, 1942.
