Biography
James Carmody was born on 13th November 1884 in Agha, Co. Carlow, Ireland. He was the son of James Carmody and Alice Sheehan. [1]
He migrated to Queensland, Australia.
James married Caroline Bryant on 15th May 1912 in Queensland. [2] The couple had a son, Thomas, in 1936, however, he passed away at one day of age. [3] Caroline passed in September 1937.
Aged 79 years and two days, James passed away on 15th November 1963 in Chermside, Queensland and is buried in Ipswich General Cemetery. [4][5]
