Biography

Franklin Kenneth Carney was born on November 13, 1920 in Sioux City, Iowa.^[1] He was the son of Franklin Morrison Carney and Lilydale Gladys Stenseth.^[1]

Frank enlisted in the air corp on February 25, 1942 in Detroit, Michigan.^[2] He was single and had no dependents.^[2] He rose to the rank of Major in the armed services.^[3]

Frank married Madelynn Draper before the 1950 census.^[4] In 1951, he and Madelynn Draper lost a child, Michaele Lee Carney.^[5]

In December 1986, Franklyn married Linda Carol Arnold in Cumberland County, Tennessee.^[6]

He died on June 18, 1988^[7] and is buried in Green Acres Memorial Garden in Crossville (Cumberland County), Tennessee.^[3]
