Biography

Anne Carpenter, daughter of Nathaniel Carpenter and Tamar Coles, was born about 1702 in Musketa Cove, Queens, Long Island. Anne married Caleb Fowler about 1722 in New York. Caleb was born in New York about 1702.[1]

  1. William, b. abt 1723 in , Westchester, NY
  2. Jonathan, b. abt 1725 in , Westchester, NY
  3. Stephen, b. abt 1727 in , Westchester, NY
  4. Moses, b. abt 1729 in , Westchester, NY. He died on 1 Sep 1821 in , Putnam, NY.
  5. Caleb, b. abt 1733 in , Westchester, NY. He died before 8 Sep 1784 in , Westchester, NY. Caleb married Anne about 1745 in , , NY. Anne was born about 1723 in , Westchester, NY.
  6. Gilbert Fowler was born about 1735

Anne’s brother, Nathaniel Carpenter, died at New Castle in late 1758. His will, dated 17 Nov 1758 and proved 8 Dec 1758, mentions his wife Abigail, eldest son Willett, daughters Miriam and Deborah. He made his brother-in-law Caleb Fowler and Caleb Lyon his executors.[2]

Caleb Fowler married to Anne Carpenter is not the same Caleb Fowler who married Ann Miller.

Cousin Gaynelle: Husband Caleb Fowler-9965 already has a wife Anne Miller-62096, with the same six sons. That's surely a duplication. and you manage both of those profiles.

Anne Miller has at least one more source, just added. Unless there's something more persuasive supporting the Carpenter woman, this profile should be disconnected from being a spouse of Caleb. Then the duplicate boys need to be merged as well. I've also proposed a merge of duplicate profiles of Anne Miller's father.
