Biography
John Carr was born on 30 November 1807, at Whickham, Durham, England.[1] He was the son of John Carr (1764-1817) and Hannah Ellison (1780-1846).
John married Elizabeth Ramsay (1818-1887) on 6 June 1843, at Banchory, Kincardineshire, Scotland.[2] They had three children.
- Frances Jane Carr (1844-1882)
- John Lauderdale Carr (1846-1890)
- Hannah Elizabeth Carr (1848-1862)
He passed away on 24 August 1856, at Cornhill, Northumberland, England.
