The share of Emma Jane's inheritance was divided among her children, after her death on 26 Feb 1916 at Mattimore House, Holbeach. Two of her sons, Alfred Everson Harrisson and Ernest Henry Harrisson, had entered the medical profession, one, Christopher Charles, farmed at Holbeach Hum, and two others, Lenny Septimus and John Carter Harrisson, became solicitors. The volumes of records of Holbeach parish and schools apparently owe their presence in, this accumulation to the activities of these solicitor sons as clerks to various local bodies. Lenny Septimus was Vestry Clerk until he was succeeded by John. John was also Clerk to the Governors of Holbeach Grammar School from 1911 and Clerk to the Farmer Education Foundation. He it was who, as second lieutenant, kept the letter book of the 1st Battalion Lincolnshire Volunteer Regiment. The records of John Everson’s Bread Dole and of the Duncombe charity may have been in the custody of the Harrissons as vestry clerks, though it should be noted that John Everson, the donor, was the maternal uricle of Alfred Harrisson, and that John Carter Harrisson was chairman of the trustees of the Duncombe charity from 1909. Frederick Augustus Harrison (1834-1890) was the son of Frederick and Louisa born in 1834 at Bodington? Mill House Holbeach.
