Joshua Carver of Marshfield, yeoman died intestate and on 13 November 1771, Joshua Carver and David Carver both of Marshfield were granted the administration of his estate. His inventory was taken on 13 November 1771 in Marshfield. The heirs agreed that the real estate would be settled upon the eldest son Isaac Carver and Isaac would pay the other children their proportional share of the estate, viz., David, Joshua, and someone whose name is left out.[1]
