This Category is for profiles of people associated with the Australian Army's 18th Anti Tank Battery during the Second World War.

The 18th Anti Tank Battery was deployed to the Netherlands East Indies (Indonesia) as part of 'Sparrow Force' in early December 1941. 'A' Troop was deployed to Ambon and 'B' Troop to Timor, each equipped with two 2-pounder guns and some 27 gunners. Ambon fell to the Japanese on 3rd February and Timor on 20th February. The unit members became prisoners-of-war, moved to Java in July and Singapore in September. MAny found themselves working on the infamous Thai-Burma railroad from early 1943.
