Joinerville is an unincorporated community, now considered a ghost town, 7 miles west of Henderson, Rusk, Texas. Originally called Cyril which changed to Miller. In 1930 the Joinerville name was chosen to honor the oilman who discovered the world's larges oilfield (East Texas Oil Field) that was a few miles from the town. The ups and downs of the town are directly related to oil production and it is now on the list of Texas Ghost Towns.
