Registers from this church are held at Liverpool Record Office and are designated by the prefix 283 AND.

The church occupied the site on Renshaw Street from 1815 (when it was built by Sir John Gladstone for £10,000) until 1892 when it was purchased by the Cheshire Lines Railway Company and demolished. A new St Andrew's church was built in it's stead on Aigburth Road (junction of Normanton Road) and was opened in 1893
