The following is copied from the Monongalia County cemeteries notebook in the Aull Center, Morgantown Public Library.

Directions: from Morgantown take Route 19 south to Indian Creek Road (Route 41). Continue on Indian Creek Road 2.6 miles to Stewart's Run Road (Route 26). Continue on Stewart's Run Road 4 miles to V. Whetzel Farm. The cemetery is in the woods to the right of the house. We read 5 markers, but some were unreadable. There are several field stones. The old fence still stands. We did not find this cemetery in the 1939 cemetery readings. This is probably the old John Stewart family cemetery.
