Victoria West is located in Queens County, in a region that was referred to as Lot 13 before Confederation. The place name Victoria West may have existed informally for many years before it was formally adopted in 1925.

In 1982, it was amalgamated with several other communities to form Lady Slipper.

Note: If this category collects too many profiles, it could be split into a colonial and provincial category at 1873.
