Biography

Martha, the daughter of Henry Caudwell and Maria Butt was born in Kent, England in 1860, ^[1] and baptised on 11 March 1860.

Martha lived with William Massey Clarke (no marriage has been found. He was most likely still married to his first wife.) from about 1881 until his death. They had at least 10 children between 1882 and 1901.

Martha married Edward Thomas Brown in 1908. ^[2]

Both she and Edward were alive and living in the Chelsea area in the 1920's & 30's but no death date known so far.
