Biography

Elizabeth Allen Cavell, daughter of William Cavell and Mary Matson was born in Deal, Kent circa 1808, and baptised at St Leonards, Deal, Kent on 21 September, 1808.^[1]

Elizabeth Cavell and William Burville Holmes, minors, married by licence at St Leonards in Deal, Kent on 6 December 1824, ^[2] With the consent of James Holmes & William Cavell, the respectives fathers. Witnesses William Cavell, M A Cavell, E A Matson, L Woodriff and Wm M Cavell.

Elizabeth died in April 1842 in Bengal, India and was buried at Lucknow, Bengal, India on 14 April 1842 ^[3]
