Conrado Amarante was born in 1923. He was the son of Jose Avedon Chacon and Rosa Vigil. He passed away in 1960.

Chacon, age 47; a laborer for a coal mine; and his mother, Rosa Chacon, age 39; and with Conrad's siblings: Telesforo Chacon, age 18; Emiliana Chacon, age 14; Santigo Chacon, age 11; Walter Chacon, age 8; Max Chacon, age 5; and Viola Chacon, a newborn sister.[5]
  • In 1940, Conrado Chacon, age 16, a new worker; lived at 514 Pine Street, Walsenburg, Huerfano, Colorado, with his father, Jose A. Chacon, age 56, a coal miner; and his mother, Rosa Chacon, age 47; and with Conrado's siblings: Telesforo Chacon, age 28, a laborer in the beet fields; Emiliana Chacon, age 24, a seamstress; Santiago Chacon, age 22, an assistant advisor in education for the C.C.C.; Jose A. Chacon, Jr., age 18, worked in the kitchen police for the C.C.C.; Max Chacon, age 14; and Viola Chacon, age 11.[6]

  • Conrad Chacon served as SSgt in the U.S. Army during WWII. Enlistment Date: 18 Mar 1943. Service End Date: 20 Jan 1946; Service Number: 37343470.[7][8]

Death

  • Conrad Chacon died 27 Dec 1960 (aged 37) in San Francisco, San Francisco, California, and he was interred at Golden Gate National Cemetery, San Bruno, San Mateo County, California, USA.[9][10][11]
