James was an architect.^[1][2] He died at Blennerville in 1834.^[3]

He married Elizabeth who survived him, their children were:^[2][3]

1. James, eldest son, born c1805, married Catherine Blennerhassett in 1832,^[4][5] died aged 90 in 1896^[6][7]
2. Sarah, born c1807, died unmarried aged 83 in 1890^[8]
3. Elizabeth, born c1809, married John Shea in 1850,^[1] died aged 83 in 1893^[9]
4. Charles, who married Elizabeth Daniel in 1849^[10]
5. Richard, born c1815, died 1853
6. Mary, born c1817, died aged 32 in 1849.
