Biography

Samuel was born about 1892. He was the son of Joseph Chapman and Victoria Cooper.^[1] He married Gladys L. Ettinger in 1919.^[2] They had two children:

1. David Merrell^[3]
2. Norris Ettinger^[4][5][6]

Samuel was widowed in 1951. He remarried in 1953 to Jessie (Cohn) Cowen.^[7]

Samuel died in 1955.^[8] He was buried at Jewish Glendale Cemetery in Des Moines, Iowa.^[7]
