Biography
William was born on 10 October 1851 in Toodyay, Western Australia.[1][2] He was the son of William Chidlow.
William John Chidlow and Christina Ellen Campbell married in Fremantle, Western Australia in 1875. [3]
He sold his father's flour mill in 1879 and dissipated his inheritance by mismanagement.[2]
