Florence was born in 1883. She was the daughter of James and Harriett Child.
England and Wales Census, 1891: Living with her parents and five siblings at Nelson Grove, Clapham, London, England. Aged 9 and a scholar. Also in the household was 71 year old Ann Child.
She married Henry James Leverett in 1904 at London, England[1].
They had four children.
England and Wales Census, 1911: Living with her husband Henry, two children George (5), Alice (4), 23 year old Harriet Child and 1 year old Ethel Leverett.
Florence and her family emigrated from England to New Zealand on board the ship Rotorua in 1923, bound for Auckland.
In the 1928 NZ Electoral Rolls she was living at 7 Karaka Street, Auckland Central with her husband Henry and two of their children George and Alice. Henry was a Caretaker.
In 1954 she was living at 28 Moira Avenue, Ponsonby, Auckland with her husband and daughter Alice.
Henry died in 1956.
Florence passed away in 1958 at the age of about 76 and is buried at Purewa Cemetery, Auckland[2]. Block J, Row 1, Plot 37.
