James was born in 1829 and Baptised 22 Aug 1829[1] or 19 September 1829[2] or 19 September 1830 [3] or Born 22 Aug (No year) baptised 14 Sep 1830 West Mersea, St Peter and St Paul, Essex, England [4]
In 1841 the family lived in Osborn Cottages, West Mersea, Essex.[5]
